Our Story

Hi, I am Jessy, the founder of Joelle’s Home Fragrances.

The brand was founded in 2021 by me and my husband, a Brazilian couple who have been living in Ireland for over a decade.

After many years away from Brazil, I began to miss the warmth, vibrancy and atmosphere of home — the scents of nature, the comforting feeling of familiar places, and the memories that certain fragrances can instantly bring back. It was during those moments of nostalgia that the idea for Joelle’s began to take shape. I realised that fragrance has a unique power: it can transport us, awaken memories, and transform the atmosphere of a space. What started as a personal longing soon became something greater — the desire to share a little of Brazil’s warmth, richness and natural beauty through scent. Through Joelle’s, I wanted not only to reconnect with those memories, but also to introduce people here in Ireland to fragrances inspired by Brazilian nature and atmosphere, creating a bridge between cultures through scent.

This cross-cultural identity has become a defining part of the brand and has been recognised with two awards celebrating Joelle’s as an exclusive cross-cultural Irish fragrance brand.

Today, Joelle’s Home Fragrances continues to be inspired by that connection between places, memories and emotions — bringing together the warmth of Brazil and the calm beauty of home in Ireland.
